“We will strongly continue purchasing the surplus of domestic poultry production” said the Head of “Livestock Affairs Supporting company”, while pointing to continuing supporting livestock producers.
Hossein Shirzad expressed: “During the last year about 4 million tons of agricultural inputs – soya, soybean, corn – has been supplied to the poultry and livestock producers. This policy was continual during the last six months.”
“These supporting policies will be continued during this year to overcome the financial losses caused by increased prices of agricultural inputs, loss of capital allocating to Livestock and poultry industry, increased recession of small and medium producing units.” Managing director of Livestock Affairs Supporting company said.
Meanwhile he stressed on broiler exporting to the target countries along with these supporting policies.
He mentioned: “our strategic chicken storage is supplied by our domestic producers and we are doing our best to apply our supportive policies in red meat sector, as well.
In this regard, we have declared in a formal international announcement that importing chicken should be restricted so that the farmers would hatch and produce with more confident.
